CCTV maintenance

CCTV and surveillance system support

PRESTA coordinates maintenance on installed CCTV and surveillance systems, including industrial sites and systems running more than sixteen cameras. PRESTA does not supply or install the systems; the work is carried out by an independent provider.

Scheduled maintenance

Camera cleaning and alignment checks, recorder health checks, storage and retention checks, and a written record of what was found.

Fault attendance

Attendance for cameras offline, recording gaps, storage faults, network drop-outs and power issues. Diagnosis and any remedial scope are confirmed before work proceeds.

Multi-camera and industrial sites

Sites beyond sixteen cameras, and sites spanning several buildings, gates or yards, are surveyed before a maintenance scope is agreed.

Records and reporting

Job cards per visit, an asset list where one is agreed, and a written report of camera status and any items requiring attention.

Footage and data handling

Access to footage, retention periods and who may view recordings are set out in writing before any visit. Nothing is exported without written instruction.

What is not included

System supply, installation, commissioning and warranty work sit with the supplying installer. PRESTA coordinates maintenance on systems already in place.

Scope, coverage, response targets, visit frequency and rates are agreed after a site survey and set out in a written proposal and contract. Nothing on this page is a committed price or a guaranteed response time.

How it runs

From enquiry to completion

  1. Enquiry. Send the requirement with location, timing and site details.
  2. Scope. We confirm what is involved, who is required and what it will cost.
  3. Written confirmation. Scope, rate, timing and safety notes agreed before anything starts.
  4. Execution. Work is carried out by an appropriate independent specialist provider, with PRESTA coordinating the scope and completion record.
  5. Record. Job card, photographs where relevant and completion confirmation.

Terms

What to know before you book

Security systems: security and anti-theft systems require site survey, product suitability confirmation, safety checks and professional installation. PRESTA does not guarantee robbery prevention, police response or alarm outcome.
Availability: PRESTA support is subject to service area, partner availability, vehicle availability, site condition, safety and written scope confirmation.

What support means here

This is facility-side support, not system supply. The distinction matters, because a property with a system installed needs different help from a property choosing one.

What PRESTA coordinates

Day-to-day operation, user changes, routine checks, first-line fault reporting, access to site for the installer, and keeping the records a committee needs.

What sits elsewhere

System design, supply, installation, commissioning and warranty work. That is a security and automation specialist's job, and we coordinate rather than duplicate it.

The things that actually go wrong

None of these is a fault. They are all a maintenance gap, and they are what a routine check finds. A system installed correctly and never looked at again is a system that quietly stops doing its job.
